Description
The P81 hydraulic valve is designed for use on log splitters. It features a spring return operation in one direction and a pressure kick-out system in the opposite direction, automatically returning the lever to its neutral position. The P81 valve also includes a manually adjustable safety relief valve.
Pressure kick-out pin
The pressure kick-out system enables the lever to be released and returned to the neutral position. When the spool is manually moved into the pressure kick-out position, the oil is directed to the “B” section. When the pressure in the “B” section exceeds the set value, the pressure kick-out pin releases the control lever and returns it to the neutral position. The factory setting for the kick-out function is 70 bar.
WARNING: If the pressure kick-out pin is set to too high a pressure, the lever will not return to the neutral position. If the pressure is set too low, the pressure kick-out pin will not hold the lever in the position ready for kick-out.
Adjustable pressure relief valve – the standard factory setting of the pressure relief valve is 150 bar.
The valve lever can be oriented either “up” or “down” depending on the machine's mounting position. This is easily done by rotating the lever by 180°. All pins are securely locked using DIN 94 cotter pins.
